Brandi passante was a cult celebrity after her appearance on A&E's Reality Show 'StorageWars. Also, it featured Jarrod Schulz, Passante's boyfriend for many years, and later husband. Storage lockers, which are rented out to tenants who had not paid rent in over three months are auctioned off in this show. Brandi and Jarrod, who are the owners of and operate the 'Now and Then' thrift store in Orange, California, participated in the program in hope of purchasing storage units at low costs. They didn't realize that the show would become reality-TV stars! Through the program the couple showed themselves to be meticulous bidders, and eventually emerged as the top performers on the reality show. The success of the reality show helped boost their company and enabled them to open another shop in addition to the one they were running.
